I remember the Kegworth disaster where immediately afterwards everybody was saying the same thought of thing……until it was later found out that he shut down the wrong engine by mistake! So much for that Captain’s piloting skills in that he caused the accident in the first place!

I disagree. Statistics show that more people read the Sun than all the quality daily newspapers put together, which is a very sad relection on our society. And that does not take into account the Mirror, Star, etc!

As a result television programmes are aimed at the lower quartile of human intelligence and we are all expected to stoop to that level!

Therefore why can’t the quality of the programmes be raised, which includes cutting out all the swearing, in order to give the sad people in our society something to aspire to!

Muslims are not more Aussie then Anglos, and Anglos are not more Aussie then Muslims. But at least Muslims didn’t commit genocide against the Aborigines by shooting them, steal their land and uprooting them from their ancestral land.

I’m surprised that no one in this world give a damn about the crimes committed against the indigneous people of Australia. But then again, who is going to take responsible for those crimes?

Yes but a rich guy could buy you a hold fleet of Chipmunks – one for every day of the week………..and if you were really lucky he might throw in an Auster as well!

I’d be a fool to deny that money and the things it can buy are attractive. However, if I can choose between a rich guy who treats me in a less than satisfactory way and a guy who struggles with money, but treats me well, I’ll take the latter any day.

Unfortunately, my caving for Grand Vin de Chateau Latour will have to remain unfulfilled.
