Turkish Aerospace Industries will be developing an entirely new air-to-air platform using Turkish R&D. Aselsan will be responsible for AESA radar, glass cockpit, Roketsan will be responsible for Weapons systems etc.
Turkish Aerospace Industries, the Turkish company that built F-16’s for the Turkish and Egyptian Air Forces under licence from Lockheed Martin and modernised Jordanian, Pakistani and Turkish F-16 will be the Prime Contractor. TAI also produces recon. satellites such as the Gokturk-2.

The SOM was designed and produced by Roketsan of Turkey for Turkey’s F-4, F-16 CCIP, F-35 and TFX fleet.
