Congratulations sir!!! I hope that I can get some flying lessons soon myself, because I have always wanted to fly a plane, lol probably might not get a C-17 if I go into the USAF though :p.

Probably might, seeing that most of our members are well educated in regards to aviation history, but this aircraft has been kept in the dark for too long, and I am tired of it.

The FS program was cancelled simply because it was “Too Realistic”. There you have it. The most realistic FS known to man.

I’m just making a suggestion. Looks like we could use an update. If we can’t afford it, then we can stay with this. It seems perfectly fine to me.

The world’s only remaining example is in the Smithsonian’s Steven Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly VA.

Seen it before, love the plane.

I don’t think the Ar 234 is a neglected design, historically speaking; it is quite rightly recognised as the world’s first jet powered bomber and that it was one of the most advanced warplanes put into action in WW2.

But the thing is, not many people know about it. Many know about the B29 dropping the Atomic Bomb, the ME-262 making it’s name as one of the first jet fighters, but I bet you that if you ask everyone on this site what was the first jet bomber, more than half of the people would get the wrong answer

I agree with all of you. It’s popularity is being stolen, despite the fact that is changed warfare forever. Without the Ar 234, where would the B2 and B52 come from? We would have developed jet engines later, but we need to give credit to the Germans for this. Have a look at this, one of the most popular variants.

Huh? Never heard of the Harrier, the YAK-38, and the YAK-141(The ancestor of F-35)?

I have heard of the Harrier, none of the other two. Notice I said one of the first. Should have said one of the first USA smh.

Just adding my 2 cents here, I think that the F35 is a great innovation for the military. One of the first, if not the first, vertical takeoff jet fighter. There are a few kinks that need to be sorted out, but I love the aircraft, the cockpit, and the design.

Flight Simulator, be it 2002, 2004, X, whatever, was undoubtedly one of the best games that I have ever played. Many still play it, and make amazing creations, making their own updates.

I am lucky to still own FS2002, FS2004, and FSX Gold Edition, but I am unable to play it because I am on a mac. But FS will never be forgotten, and who knows, there might be an XBox version someday.
