Just on ITV news. Did you see the photo they used? It was nicked from airliners.net, still had airliners.net written on it!

Doesn’t mean it’s nicked, atall! By the sounds of it they had to get the shots pretty quick – Maybe the Photographer was at work or something and didn’t have access to the original.

George W Bush on board……..i don’t think so…….the President normally only travels on a specially equipped VC 25A which is a flying command post

Well who ever it was was very very important

Alpha 1/2 (end taxiways leading to 27) are currently closed due to maintenance, therefore aircraft have to either start the takeoff from a reduced distance via Golf or do a backtrack to the end of 27 from Golf also (which you obviously did).

With regards to the takeoff Ryanair generally use the derate out of LPL to save engine wear, (mostly 22K, lowest avail option).

Cheers, Flex! Yeah it probably was a de-rated takeoff, but not by much. I don’t think i’ve been on anything that has used so much power on takeoff. Unlike when we departed from RIX you could tell it was a very de-rated takeoff 🙁

    Cheers for the info! 😀

Hi RingwaySam,The lens is worth every penny ,the only down side is you will have to work out and build some muscle in you’re left arm , or get a good tripod, its a bit heavier than my 75-300mm lens

That’s not a problem, i’ve had the Sigma 50-500mm for a year and that’s heavy, think it weighs abit more than the 400mm. Cheers for the info though, i’ll keep looking! 😀

I think the camera has just blew the top part out. If it’s the LTU that passed over between 13:30-13:45 it is…
