As a female I have always hated the commercialism of it. I told my husband if he wanted to mark the day spend £2.99 on a bunch of flowers from the co-op – non of this £5 for a rose! I want to feel appreicated every day, and I am, so Im lucky, every day is Valentines Day!:D

I know its not going to be a popular comment but I dont really celebrate Valentines Day as I’m happily married and we do nice things for each other whenever we can – just dont think it should focus on one day, but thats just me – its just very commercial.

Im using a 90-300mm lens – until I can get a 500mm. I am enjoying the Canon – gives good results, but still have loads to get my head around. Still a few months til the Airshow season starts!

Thanks for the reply. The new camera is a Canon 400D – last time I went to Wattisham the pics were dark and someone advised me to change the metering settings – so I think I did it too much, as I did it a whole point. Will have to have another try to get the correct settings – as I said I am new to this, as I only had a point and shoot camera last year.

In very basic terms as I understand them its Notices To Airmen, lists any info needed – ie no fly zones, display restrictions etc.
