Any projects at Duxford would be great to get involved with. The others sound really interesting but Duxfords the closest to Planejunky and me.

There is a fix for it on either Norton (which we used) or McAfee. It’s easy enough to get rid of it. 😀
Hope this helps – those silly blaster worms are a real nuisance!

definately turkey – my hubby has been practising for the role all year! (love him really – just feeling stressed with my college course) :diablo: The joy of having a partnership where you both have a wicked sense of humour!
Have had the privilege of nursing some Arnhem veterans, including some glider pilots. They had amazing stories to tell, and were, as always true gentlemen. They seemed pleased that I knew a little about Arnhem, as sometimes it can appear that relative youngsters aren’t interested in what is important history.
It was nice to be able to say Thank You to them in person, something I will not forget..especially when they thanked me for making their stay in hospital that little bit nicer.
Thank You to all veterans where ever you are.

As its a Mk 1 it should only have 3, and NOT the six. As for the reason Hasegawa do this I don’t honestly know so sorry I could not be of any further assistance.

As said previously Thanks for what you have done.

For me, an evening of quiet contemplation…have had the pleasure of nursing a Battle of Britain veteran who sadly died a few weeks ago…his memory will live on. Not only because of the history lessons he taught me whilst on the ward (they aren’t stories, I think of them as lessons) but the manner in which he conducted his life – a real gentleman.
Hi Black Panther,
Hope today went well. Have been thinking of you.

Those who forget the past are doomed to make its mistakes. All the more reason to not forget those who ensured our freedom.
I enjoy learning from whalebones daily reminders, it’s a chance to remember and to learn about true sacrifice and hardship.
I personally enjoy reading up about the Second World War, as both sets of my grandparents have since past away, so I don’t have the oportunity to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak. At school we were taught about the Romans…sorry I didn’t personally know any of them, however I did know some people that had been involved in the war and it would have been great if schools could have taught us about modern history.
I am lucky though that in my line of work (in the nursing profession) I have met some truly amazing people with their own individual stories to tell and yes we have shown our respect when various anniversaries happen.
Their memories do live on, their sacrifice not forgotten….
My thoughts are with all veterans, no matter which battle is being commerated. Today is for those veterans of the Battle of Britain. I sincerley thank you all.
it might be me being stupid (quite possibly!) but what happens???
Hi Black Panther,
Good luck for tomorrow. I would have gone to Duxford as I have a day off but I don’t have any transport to get me there so I’ll be thinking of you.
Thanks for attempting what you are – it shows people care, although its a shame the football clubs have let you down.
Enjoy the day,
Best Wishes
Danni 🙂
Happy Birthday Andrewm, and wannabe pilot and planejunky – oops I forgot planejunky’s birthday card so got some forgiving to work on – I’m forgiven.. Planejunky got an A2 for his birthday so all is well.
Hope you guys have a great day whatever the celebrations are.

Hi Steve,
He runs a website on airworthy aircraft from World War II – seems to be a popular site
This is just my opinion but the longer the better. Here are a couple of reasons why.
a) good value for money
b) a chance to really look at the displays nearly in their entirety for those people that were busy taking photo’s/doing reviews etc.
This was a great show and I have personally felt that the last few years Flying Legends videos/DVD’s have been disappointing, with short footage of the displays and poor commentary, which in my opinion was “amateurish”.
It must be very hard getting the balance right, of describing the aircraft and not talking over the wonderful sounds of the various engines.
All the best
Danni
