Here’s 1,2 and 3 – hope you enjoy 🙂
Hi,
Would there be any interest if I posted some photos of the cockpit of Mr Bradshaw’s Sea Fury which was at Flying Legends? He was kind enough to let me have a really good look around the aircraft and that was the highlight of my experience of Flying Legends.

quite agree
that is just simply awful, one model my other half will not get through the door no matter how hard he tries! ha!ha! (don’t think he will be trying that hard! 😀
well i thought an extra passenger could have been fastened on to it! 🙂 – then I put my sensible head on an thought it was an exhausty type thing! – ‘girly thought’ as didn’t know about Fuel tank breather pipes – but I’ve been educated now so thanks! 😀

Agree that it would look good at airshows but it would look better in my back garden! (and that’s coming from a female 😮 yep women can love planes too you know! 🙂

Snaps is going to be cheeky Robbo and ask you if you have any hints for a newbie to this wonderful pasttime. 🙂
I’m so happy I’m not on the early shift tomorrow! This sites quite addictive (beats Big Brother any day! 😮 )
Thanks Robbo,
I was sorry that missed you at OW. As I said in my first post I’m new to aviation photography but your work is purely inspirational – thanks – your my motivation to keep trying to take half decent pics – However I think it is a case of practice makes perfect!:D

Well Guzzineil, I too like you had withdrawal symptoms, but instead of sensible DIY forums I ended up on a nursing forum, too much like work, and not half the fun this forum is!
Glad all is well and DIY forums won’t have to be frequented too often! 😀

Neil: The weights finally off my shoulders! 🙂
Great pic, made me laugh!

Thanks for the replies.
I was going to title the post ‘Here’s some girlie shots!’ just to get peoples attention but as I’ve just come in from work my brain didn’t get into gear quick enough! 😀
What a great way to relax though after a busy day on a hot hospital ward. The patients were very impressed with the Old Warden Programme, which I thought was well priced at £2.
Thanks again,
Danni
At an airshow at Duxford last year I heard a young child of about 7 years of age, what aircraft he was looking at. His mother turned and said to him “it’s an aeroplane”. This infurriated me as she obviously missed a great learning opportunity for her son. So I started chatting to him about the various aircraft on display, what their roles were etc. It amused me more when the lady said to me “what you choose to come here?”. I said “Yes I do, I love learning about our history and the aircraft on display”. I have even been known to threaten my husband with going to Duxford by myself when he had a cold! (Yes, their are some female out there that do love aviation, but my weakness is not retaining information about the workings of the different types of engines!) 😀
Sorry this turned out to be a long post but you know what women are like! 😉

Any damage to any aircraft is very sad, especially when this storm was so localised. I would like to wish the owners of these aircraft all the best, although I am aware that the Terrier G-ASDL is a write off, but maybe the Autocar G-AKRG is repairable with some tender loving care.
