25 years of TFC 🙂
Going on what you are saying then the CAA would ground every historic aircraft flying.
Steve
Trust me, they are working on it……..
More chance of PK624;)
More chance of RK858….:diablo:
Well, at first I thought that it was WP929, which has been parked in that spot for a few days now, but the fin flash is wrong, so it must have been another of the ‘locals’
The Yak returned to La Ferté-Alais at the end of September – I have pictures but the upload’s not working today.
Four year restoration?
A little economic with the actualité. 🙂
Mark
Four years to restore it, another four to get the CAA to accept it……:diablo:
Yeah, if someone left a cacky old Ford outside my house I’d be peeved too……:p
The image is a bit dated, the three Hercs by the control tower were disposed of some time ago.
You got it in one!!! 🙂
Mr Coopers are IL2’s, not 10’s…
I thought it would be worth referring to them as they are a close relative.
And I think it more a case of dont just turn up un announced and expect to be shown around, and dont try breaking in, rather than “Dont try visiting”
Obviously you know him better than I do.
Isn’t there a couple of IL10’s being restored in the UK somewhere one for the RAFM i think?
Yep, with Gerry Cooper at Wickenby. Don’t try visiting, though.
Also two with Didier Chable at Melun;
A522 (NEAM) is the subject of the Falklands edition Airfix model. (NEAM credits given in the packaging)
Aha! That’ll be why they don’t stock that model in the Duxford gift shop then!! :diablo:

Some of the photos are a bit more arty than the kind of thing we are used to, and the banter takes a bit of wading though, but a useful insight into the French aviation scene.
