A very sensible decision, albeit a hard one to take; we had to keep our Tigercat a Duxford for a few months more than the new owner might have wished for, but by the end of August the North Atlantic weather is deteriorating fast and even for a twin it’s a big ask to make that trip.

Legends ’09? we’d love to see it there!

We used exhaust wrap from Demon Tweeks on a flying P-47,so it’s well up to the job.

I’ve got an inlet (I think?) stub somewhere which came from a box of Auster bits…looks like Lycoming. I’ll dig it out and post a piccy, although probably not today – it’s somewhere deep in the shed of doom along with half a million other pieces of what James May delightfully describes as ‘Mancrap’ 🙂

Well, it’s here now and offloaded. There was some fella taking pictures first thing. Looked like he was a Hawkwind fan :p Pictures on the “Bogspot” later…..;)

We’re going to bung a 4360 in it and sell “Race Day Experiences” to punters at 2 grand a pop. :dev2:
