Spitfire IX MK356 of the BBMF made a successful test flight in the hands of OC BBMF, Sqn Ldr Al Pinner, at Duxford today
So the other three flights were unsuccessful then……:diablo:
TD248 and the Grace spitfire both have black spinners at the moment.
Has the Grace Spit had a spinner change then? It used to be Sky……:diablo:

You could have just gaffer-taped the camera onto your foot Brian…. :p

A certain bomber has now gone tech and will not be flying.
Interesting shot from a different angle; thanks for the link.
I see that the photo has been deleted from Scramble’s forum; is there something to hide about this accident?
Looking for something else today and found this;
The engine went to Pratt & Whitney heaven at Legends. Still awaiting a replacement. The aircraft was for sale if you’ve got a few thousand Euros going spare…:)
They make a nice hanging basket, Bruce….:cool:
Apparently the three aircraft are Amelia Earhart’s Lockheed, Glenn Miller’s Norseman and a Chinese Stirling…….:rolleyes:
Believed to be VP-BGE enroute to Pau. Still to be confirmed.
I will apologise to anyone who found my post offensive, but coming at the end of a week that has seen a friend of mine killed by the actions of the driver of a white transit tipper who was towing a caravan and then left the scene of the “accident”, there will no doubt be some of you who would tend to concur with my viewpoint.
Latest pix just uploaded…

Stunning camera work, even tho’ I say so myself……;)
The closest thing nowadays would be “European Military out of Service” commonly known as EMOOS. It’s by Otger van der Kooij and Andy Marden, two very knowledgeable chaps. You can buy it from the Scramble shop:

You beat me to it!
