Nice shots!
The transport team have just finished reassembling the airframe, and it is now going into Hangar 5.
I really don’t understand why these protesters bothered; after all, the weather in Manchester has been sh!te since 1870….:p
More news here;
Interestingly my latest ‘Aviation Letter’ tells me that the French aviation authorities have recently banned Iran Air 747-200’s from operating into Paris, but their SP’s are still permitted. Don’t know whether it’s an age thing or maintenance/ops related.
Nice shots 😎
Was a bit boring. I have a sneaky feeling he was spying out landmarks for his display.

So what is it that GLG actually do?? From looking around their site I honestly have no idea.
Although the ‘L’ in GLG stands for Lehrman, so if they’re anything to do with Lehrman Bros, they would certainly know a lot about losing money 😀
Moi???
Si………….:p
They could always try a retro scheme and paint it like one of the giants of the past…..Junkers G.38 anyone?

I’m confused…..thought that this bird had been repainted in authentic colours, now it seems to have changed. Some kind of problem???
Yes, but I can’t remember which one it was now. Read it on another forum.
I saw last Saturday the T.20 Sea Fury with all it’s panels on and parked in the north side of Hangar 2, where the Catalina had been, along with the MkV Spitfire.
Brian
Yes, we ran the Sea Fury t’other day, everything’s been moved about again as we’ve got the builders in…
You’d not heard about the merger then, Col…….??? 😀
