    oh island in da sun

Sorry – I’d forgotten you chaps were a bit lost outside Duxford’s airspace.

Worcester’s to the south west of Birmingham. on the M5. It’s the site of the world’s first municiple airport (Perdiswell) and some brown sauce stuff you can put on cheese on toast to make it into something else.

    😀

Back to topic – could this be something to do with the environment agency checking the rivers? 10 days of circuits is a little strange.

    Islands in the Sky

    This explains everything.

It’s South American weapons smugglers. Running Winchester Rifles to the drug cartels of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Damn – where have my poppy seeds gone?

    Cheers chaps.

My grandad was a rear gunner on Horsa gliders. He said he shot down a Japanese WD40 over the Bay of Biscay which he said force landed on a rocky outcrop called Sodor. The local home guard then moved the bomber into a railway tunnel and blocked it up with the intention of going back 50 years later to sell it on Ebay for lots of money. My old grandad went back 40 years later (beating the home guard boys by 10 years) and removed the fighter, towing it back to his garden to use as a green house.

My grandad died last week and on clearing the house and garden we found the complete airframe. It’s still got it’s engine and we managed to get it working thanks to a passing AA patrol man (who says the AA is just for shooting at Jerry?).

Anyway to cut a short rumor long, we’ve mounted it on a plynth next to J7 M5. Keep a look out. We’ve painted it in Red Bull colours so you can’t miss it.

Remember the soap with EIIR and a crown on it? Always reminded me of joke soap that made your face go black.

    Hi Mark 12

thanks for posting to the thread. I agree with Mark V that the spit looks better at Halton. San Diego looks very dark and cramped. Not ideal.
