It was mentioned on HAC’s facebook page that it is going to the US.

I seem to remember that there were several Fireflies reported as being for sale on the African continent quite a few years ago (Kenya?), though due to fading memory, senility or even both, I cannot remember the details, though I do seem to remember a black & white photograph taken from a low angle!

Also, I assume that the Firefly being restored at Duxford, is one of the two yellow examples that came from Scandinavia and wonder what has happened to the second?

The second example is at the Aviodrome in Holland as mentioned in post 7, was swapped for a Spitfire IIRC.

Think he has jumped before he was pushed. Watched all except one episode. Didn’t mind Chris Harris and Rory Reid. Matt Le Blanc was ok. Don’t think they used Sabine and Eddie enough. Hopefully they can do another series with Rory Reid and Chris Harris being the main presenters with it being more like last nights episode, where it was more about cars being reviewed rather than trying to emulate Clarkson and co.

The average of 12 hours was on Gnat and Jet provost for the previous 10 years. He had 707 hours flying time in the previous year with 418 in command.

I was lucky that I got to see them at Download a couple of years ago. They sounded amazing live. RIP.
