Some of the participants at the Northolt phot day have been leaving this afternoon. Saw a Bulldog earlier, just had the strikemaster fly over. Tomorrow morning will be noisy when the RAF fast jets start to leave. (Won’t need my alarm clock)
Very nice shots, like the F-111 especially.
So howe come that other sources say that she was out with prop damage that day?
Don’t know the answer to that one but the information about the kill that TT found is also on the official website for ML407, scrolll down to the bottom.
Thought I saw a Provost/Strikemaster not too long after the Gnats flew past, wasn’t sure which as it was in the distance.
Just had what i believe to be 2 Gnats fly into Northolt for the photo day on Sunday, only heard the first one that is why I say believe, the one I saw was in Red Arrows markings. Also saw a Harrier GR.9 coming in while I was still at work.
Found this on Airliners.net

Am I right in thinking that the Watts prop being referred to is a two-blader as opposed to a three-blade? If so, then the Kiwi Hurricane doesn’t have one…
I think what Oxcart was referring to is that the Fighter Collection own a two-bladed prop for a Hurricane (see thread for mention of the prop http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=81002 ) and that they could put it on the Kiwi Hurricane if they bought it.
Reading the Sally B website, they had a problem with an engine at the end of 2007 season, this has been changed over the winter. There is no news about any other problems but Pen Pusher had reported in the thread below that her new engine has gone U/S (see post 46).

See link below for original engine problem.
“Not to be out done, the Nimrod had its first engine runs for 3 1/2 years”
I’m sure I saw this fly at Legends last year, or does “engine runs” mean something different, such as calibration?
The Nimrod you saw last year was the Historic Aircraft Collections Nimrod Mk II, the TFC’s is a Nimrod Mk I.
The last one on the static list caught my eye.
B25 Mitchell Aircraft Restoration Company
Anybody know anything about this aircraft.
There is a P-47 at Duxford [in bits] the photo was taken Dec last year anyone knows what is happening to it.

Fuselage is under restoration in America, due back soon I believe.
“There can be only one……………………..” 😀
Isn’t that a quote from Highlander.
Back on topic, good work. Can’t wait to see it in person, most probably at legends. Its a shame I’m most probably moving this year as I currrently live under the Northolt flight path and it would have been nice to see over the house.
This is the Tempest that is awaiting its engine, a centaurus powered example.
