Russia has only two friends: Russian army and the Russian fleet. Why do we have to pay the Swedes?

All of Europe will collect the money and pay Saab JAS 39 Gripen. If money is not enough then the fighter will make the Italians from the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 Master. In any case, it will be very easy fighter.

One interesting fact that came across was the structure/material used on Mig-31 was good enough to be used for many decades with over haul , I am not sure what material they use to build the Mig-31 but it was suppose to last very long

The basic material in the design of the MiG-31 – steel “ВНС” (высоко нагруженная сталь) – “highly loaded steel”. At its plant jokingly called ВНС – временно нержавеющая сталь, “temporarily stainless steel”. 🙂
