The good-luck symbol of several societies, it was adopted by the recently-formed Ilmavoimat in March 1918. To the best of my knowledge, it had no political meaning for the Finns.

Of course! Just a symbol of good luck, nothing more!

    https://mysuomi.wordpress.com/2007/11/05/%D1%85%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8-%D1%84%D0%B8%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B0%D1%8F-%D1%81%D0%B2%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B8%D0%BA%D0%B0/

    Finnish swastika

Lies, lies, lies. Shameless, blatant, cynical. A lot of. If it is to take skin for a skin, from Finland obtained a rare freak.

Another example is the Finnish swastika.

When you see it on the state symbols, the first thing you say – it has nothing to do with Nazism. It appeared in Finland long before World War II.

For further questions will tell an interesting story about the Swedish Count von Rosen, who sympathized with the Finns gave them his plane, on which was depicted his family sign of the swastika, and since then they have a swastika painted on the aircraft, then on the tanks, as well as banners and awards. It tells what it was in 1918, and that the German Nazis began to use the symbol only two years later in 1920.

Then it turns out that von Rosen and Goering, one of the leaders of the German Nazi Party, is were married to sisters, but again this does not mean anything. Then the truth will have to admit that it happened as it is not quite by accident. Hermann Goering with his future wife actually introduced himself Eric von Rosen, and not as something different. For the Finns it is important to correct for that friends Herman and Eric were in the evening in the castle von Rosen quite by accident, the weather was bad – it’s a big difference.

The fact that the swastika family sign Count von Rosen, would also in some way not entirely true, and this, that you are probably thinking that the swastika is a symbol of the family von Rosen carefully inherited by each generation of the pope, from his grandfather, from the distant medieval great-great ..- great-grandfather fought with a swastika on a shield for his Count’s honor, was not. Oh yes, explain the Finns, the young Eric, while still in school, was fond of history and seeing the swastika somewhere in the ancient runes made it his personal mark. In short, Eric just loved to paint a swastika.

But it’s true because nothing does not mean the noble philanthropist gave Finland airplane on which painted a romantic ancient rune. And all his Nazi friends and relatives is also natural to this story have nothing to do. You never know.

But if you start rasprashivat actually about the identity of Eric von Rosen, a philanthropist that will not only sympathized with the noble Finland, it is he sympathized, but rather actually was a prominent figure in the Swedish National Socialism Nazi.

In general, people who developed and Nazism were the ones who gave the swastika Finland. And if German Nazism was then still a project, for Finland it has been with the state ideology of independence.

And this story, according to the Finns, and allows them to use the swastika in its modern state symbols, and all attacks in pronatsizme considered unfair.

Finns also say that during World War II did not fight under the Nazi swastika, and it was their Finnish swastika, which we should already know, has nothing to do with Nazism, or that the swastika was a general, abstract, something ancient amulet.

The text at the bottom of photography explains that the swastika is on board a Finnish aircraft, it is such an ancient symbol of good luck – Military History Museum, Helsinki.

Thus, from the outset clearly associating themselves with Nazis, Finland never burst and defiantly not going to break the connection.

And the symbolism is just the tip of the iceberg, why Finland is a world leader neonatsistkogo movement.

By the way the swastika as a symbol of the state in Finland was claimed Mannerheim.

    Nonsense!
On the list you linked to, it is easy to find non-NATO aircraft…

In this case, if you have violated the border, should obey and landing. If you are trying to run, then it is obvious that you are a criminal.

I think the Russian should respond adequately, to: build military bases in Venezuela and Cuba. Let “peace russian aircraft” flying around New York and Washington

A long list of aircraft shot down for alleged violations of Russian airspace makes depressing reading. I’m glad that my country and its air force does not have that sort of record.

Funny? A lot of murders by Soviet fighter pilots in that list. Look at where these incidents took place – international airspace over the Baltic. Why do you find it funny?
A lot of the others were shot down over international waters. One came down on US territory, St. Lawrence Island.

If NATO provocateurs of sitting at home, this list would be empty
