What Miracle Weapon , Tactical Nukes ?
Exactly 44 years ago, Chinese troops invaded the island Damansky. The conflict was stopped after the application of secret missile salvo of (MRS) “Grad”.
This fire show frightened Chinese, they retreated.
The people while a legend (spread including some socialist countries, in particular in Bulgaria), that for the destruction of the Chinese troops was applied laser weapon of enormous power, for power supply which in most parts of the Soviet Union a few minutes was the power is turned off . In a more “modest” version of the legend of the island was under fire projectiles “volume explosion”, a charge which was set on fire with a laser. It was also said that the whole island has been mined so tightly that at the critical moment it completely blew up, wiped out.
Obviously Paralay is a big Mikoyan fan (and especially a big fan of big powerful interceptors, as he actually worked on the 31 himself). 🙂
😀
Today, the Russian two problems: The U.S. Navy and the Army of China.
U.S. Navy to stop for the 1000 – 1500 km to the borders of Mother Russia. Chinese army in the attack will be very large. Stop the Chinese can, if you put the terrible destruction, or use the “miracle weapon”.
These roles can play MFP
Hm, and where is PAK FA?
To be built 220 – 250 Su-50 (+144 FGFA). They fly until LMFS and MFP. But I would cut up to 100 pieces.
The presentation took place in the spring of 2011. I do not remember the details, perhaps they were not.
Obviously looking for money to export project. On the version for the Russian Air Force has not yet spoken.
My opinion, the Russian needs two – three types of combat aircraft: LMFS (tactical), MFP (strategic) and possibly PAK DA (tanker, ASW, AWACS, etc.). The rest should be done drones.
MFP – “multifunctional interceptor” replace: partial Su-27, MiG-31, Su-24, Su-34 and Tu-22M and Tu-160

flateric on vacation.
S-56 – a real one. MiGs – presumably on the basis of rumors.
I do not remember the post about the contest
LMFS contest was not. Twin-engined light fighter MiG (I-2000) lost competition PAK FA.
MiG company offered to the Indians, two variants of light fighters, with one or two engines.
Sukhoi Company has developed the C-56.
These projects gave way to LMFS
Drawings – speculation
MiG-35.
The decision should be made this year
Is that how Sukhoi adds designations? Ken, can you confirm the dates?
Why did you destroy a beautiful story? 😀
Naah. Not a cool number for marketing, just politicians getting confused. X-32 & X-35 were legitimately numbered in the X for experimental sequence (& yes, there were an X-33 & X-34). Whichever one was selected should have been given the next number in the F for fighter sequence, which IMO should have been F-25 (F-18E/F should have been F-24), but supposedly, G W Bush mistakenly called it the F-35 & nobody wanted to tell the President he was wrong.
Earlier this also happens RS-71 – SR-71 :p
As they wish – so called. Today it is called “Fighter / Истребитель -21” or “I-21”, can be and will remain 😎
when did the Su-25 first fly ?
or the su-22 ?
Su-25 – 1975
Perhaps this classification began to be applied to the Su-25
It doesn’t look like there will be a LMFS project in the near and medium term future.
You see the PAK DA? But it exists … 🙂
like how the T-10 became the Su-27, and the S-37 became the Su-47,…
Su-27 first flew in 1977.
Su-47 first flew in 1997
T-50 first flew in 201, most likely – Su-5
It’s just two different routes really. From what I gather katran is some kind of proto-Slavic for something (like soil) seeping with a thick dark fluid, tar-like, wet coal, like bitumen or what have you…
Correctly. “Tar spin” – “Спина как смола” (RUS) 🙂
