what you mean ? i dont really understand ๐Ÿ™

Speaking of the RCS, Lockheed has in mind the minimum value, paralay – average.

that can be say the same about the russian stuff

Russian usually honest. USSR did not tell anything, but do not lie. Russia in the early nineties was much too frank. Today Russian understate characteristics of their aircraft.
For example, write a maximum combat load of the Su-34 – 8000 kg, actually more than 12,000 kg. ๐Ÿ˜‰

 according to you then F-22 have RCS = 0.3 m2 , while F-16 have RCS =1.8 m2 :eek: i mean seriously , you think they spent billions of dollars just for that much improment ???

What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonnell_Douglas_F-15E_Strike_Eagle

Empty weight: 31,700 lb (14,300 kg) – in fact, 16,550 kg, 14,650 kg – empty weight F-15E without CFT.

Maximum speed M = 2.5 + (2660 km / h) – in fact, the F-15E with CFT has a maximum speed of 1900 km / h CFT faster without the F-15C can accelerate only up to M = 2.3, the flight at that speed is not more than one minute. F-15E worse aerodynamics.

Weight of 10400 kg of payload, previously wrote all 11,110 kg – in fact the maximum combat load of the F-15E: 5124 kg

    1x AN/AAQ-13 Navigation Pod, 204.6 kg
    1x AN/AAQ-14 Targeting Pod, 240.7 kg
    4x AIM-9L / M Sidewinder, 86 kg
    5x GBU-10 Paveway II, 956 kg
    2x 610gal Fuel Tank, ~ 2000 kg

    Total: 204.6+240.7+86*4+956*5+2000*2=204.6+240.7+344+4780+4000=9569.3 ะบะณ

    Weapons: 86*4+956*5 = 344 + 4780 = 5124 kg / 11 296,5 lbs

Many sources still write a maximum flight range of F-15E – 5680 km.
    This is actually a range of F-15C: CFT + 3 fuel tanks (6105 kg + 4265 kg + 5396 kg = 15,766 kg)
    The maximum range of the F-15E: CFT + 3 Fuel tank capacity (5952 kg + 4265 kg + 5396 kg = 15,613 kg) – 3900 km

At MAKS-2011 on a poster about the F-15C was specified maximum speed – 3000 km / h. This has made my day ๐Ÿ˜€

why it so much bigger than information from USA ??
    and how come the B-1b have RCS = 0 m2 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Americans always overestimate / improve their equipment specifications for promotional purposes. Compare the figures in Wikipedia and in the flight manual ๐Ÿ˜‰

    RSC
Number of consoles 5 pieces (two wings and two stabilizers, one keel)
    coating 50%
    form 0
    plasma 0
    RCS min 10 square meters
    RCS max 16 square meters

Is this an operational limitation or what was tested/observed?

    This is a real test.
In the next year we will see what a carrier with a springboard. This will show us the Chinese and Indians

    2 R-73 2 * 110 kg = 220 kg
    2 APU-62 2 * 50 kg = 100 kg
    2 PTB – 1150, 2 * 1100 kg = 2200 kg
    Pylons 2 * 250 kg = 500 kg
    2 H-35UE, 2 * 610 kg = 1220 kg
    AKU-58 2 * 186 kg = 372 kg
    1 PTB-2000, 2000 kg

    12400 kg (empty weight) + 100 kg (pilot) + 5200 kg (fuel) + 220 kg (R-73) + 100 kg (APU-62) + 1220 kg (H-35) + 372 kg (AKU-58) + 2200 kg (PTB-1100) + 500 kg (pylons PTB) + 2000 kg (PTB-2000) = 24 312 kg

We can teorize but I dont know what conclusions we can draw from it. We only know the Su-33 is clean…

During tests of the Su-33 taking off from an aircraft carrier with a maximum take-off weight, the speed of aircraft carrier – 12 knots from the third position.
With the first and second positions 50% fuel and 50% of the weapons, speed carrier 6 knots.
With 20% of the fuel Su-33 taking off from an aircraft carrier anchored.

The main reason due to which the Su-33 can not fly with a maximum combat load – faulty steam engine aircraft carrier “Kuznetsov”

    In the photo http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=210009&d=1354253067

    4 R-73 4 * 110 kg = 440 kg
    APU-62 4 * 50 kg = 200 kg

    6 R-27 6 * 253 kg = 1518 kg
    AKU-470 6 * 90 kg = 540 kg
    a total of 1958 kg

    Takeoff weight 19,600 kg (empty weight) + 9500 kg (fuel weight) + 100 kg (pilot) + 1958 kg (gun) + 200 kg + 540 kg (pylons) = 31,898 kg

Flight range of about 2500 km radius of 875 km.
This is the maximum takeoff weight of the Su-33 in the embodiment air – air.

Flights with bombs were only on the ground.
The maximum weight of the bombs with racks: 32000 kg – 5120 kg (fuel) – 100 kg (pilot) – 19600 kg (empty weight) = 7180 kg
    MBDZ-U6-68 5 * 148 kg = 740 kg
    FAB-250M62 28 * 230 kg = 6440 kg

At the bottom of the page shows the calculation of the Su-33 taking off from the springboard.
You probably have some difficulties with translation ๐Ÿ™‚

I would love to see a photo of the Su-33 taking off from the Kuznetsov with 6500 kg of ordnance – but i don’t think such a photo exists…

Will you show a photo of any other aircraft taking off from an aircraft carrier with a fighting load 6500 kg (weapons)? ๐Ÿ˜‰

What is the difference between taking off from the springboard or a catapult?
Speed โ€‹โ€‹carrier and headwind – minimum. Takeoff weight fighter – the maximum
