    War graves

Hi folks; Over here Civil war remains are when found
are treated like they fell yesterday.Look at the HUNLEY,
post mortem ,then burial with full honours.I beleive
when the fallen are found they must be brought home.
The artifacts can be preserved to tell the story.
Everyone must come home, however long they have
been “on patrol”.That’s just my 2 cents worth.

    The search

Hi folks; Thanks Newforest,Shortc for the pics. She
reminds me of a Curtiss,Felixstowe. So not the first
mission to look, the Norwigens must of closed in a
few areas taking ice flows and such. The articale
says the descendants have givin thier blessings,
if Amundsen is found will he be taken home?
Over here our goverment is undertaking a large
search for HMS Terror and Erubus.I hope someone
is making a t/v doc from this search and i wonder
what kind of arivall Amundsen would get if he is
    found?

    riasing effort.casmchallenge.com Let’s hope they
don’t to have to sell any a/c.I’d sure like to see

    Met flights

Hi Resmoroh: Yes the crews were kept busy. The ingress in
to the flt up to 20.000ft to next waypoint and then down
MSL on egress with what you descibed on say 14hr mission.
Then you watch what the N.O.A.A folks fly through i just
might take my chances with the Germans,at least there
i would have a chance of defeating my adversaries.By
the way we’ve recorded rouge waves of 100ft + off the
Grand banks.Did any crews meet their fate on one of
these? The QUEEN MARY almost did full of troops!

    halifax

Hi Hornchuch:That does help alot, reading that more than
one Halifax failed to return to base on the west coast of
Scotland on the ‘met’ flights.I’m a bit surprised that
the a/c was left in R.A.F colours,Guess by that time
there wasn’t much of a threat left. The base on the
west coast looks awfully remote any bits been looked
    for there.Thanks.

:(Hi folks; Having worked with Dash-8 and 7 ac for
a long time it certainly was shocking to hear one
was down.Witness’s say they heard the engines
    sputtering,that’s one thing i’ve never heard a
turboprop do.49 souls and one town in our hearts
    and prayers.R.I.P
