I have to admit. I was a little dissapointed in the flesh. Certainly scrubs up a lot better in the Photos. But no disputing her aeronatical prowess.
Dave, we go to bed early as it is the thing to do at our age 🙂
But as this thread seems to have died a little, time to prop it up with some more images.
Now I do apologise for those still on Dial up, I have not worked out how you post the smaller images to click on like at the start of the thread. I’m a Computer Numpty.

I’d like to see the photographer’s own photos of that! It was a classic.
For those not there, he was stood on the fenceline across the other side of the runway, and the Bleriot flew straight at him, and got so close he had to duck out of the way. The whole crowd got a good laugh at that one. Man that Bleriot is so cool.
