Well one of my shots

Note the lack of sun again 🙂
Anyone get a shot of the Bleriot getting awfully close to the Photographer on Sunday. I’d be curious to see what it looked like 🙂
woo hoo, I got a mention 🙂
In “Tora Tora Tora” one of the “Zeros” is practically scraping the deck with one wing low during the strafing of the fibreglass P40 replicas. An incredible piece of flying.
Incredible flying or a result of an explosion blowing him off centre actually causing a near accident. well that’s the recount of it i heard 🙂
Doesn’t sound like anything unnormal. All they are doing is making sure that their material is used for a Positive outlook. Private use free of charge, printed material, “well only if you print what we want you to print otherwise never again etc”.
Dude, you already paid for the typhoons with your tax’s. why do you want to pay more 🙂
Same rules apply here in Australia. I have had to deal with the RAAF on some issues recently. They allowed me to go flying with the Roulettes for a few days. While I have a copy of the images, it is no secret that they are in fact Crown copyright as I was invited to participate etc etc. For them to be used in any way, I have to seek permission. I can not use them otherwise. Once Permission is granted. no money is paid and no money is allowed to be made from it by me.
It’s all about PR.
Since when has the crown started to charge for use of their images.
It is a common mis understanding that photographers make big money from pics of aircraft
I once had an Airshow tell me that for media Accrediatation I only had to pay them $110.
Considering that after I pay for Petrol and accomodation and then food, I declined. Went to Temora instead. Seems that Media access for a small period in Australia at some venues got very little attention. A side effect no doubt that every one with a camera started to apply for it. To the point that some people even offered to pay the Oranisers 10 percent of all sales. No idea what the organisers would have done with the $20 extra revenue earnt 😉
Oscar, I sent you a PM on my Views.
However, one thing that annoys me is people taking these images and making money from them. It’s hard enough for me to make money let alone have someone make more from it than I do 🙂
WEBSHOTS being the primary problem. but there is no doubt enough spin offs now that it gets beyond a joke.
Better not forget the Spitfire which first flew 70 years ago.

CAC Formation as requested.

It’s for us to put a client ad together for approval. If it goes ahead they’ll probably supply their own image, but if I can sell yours to them I will do.
I think he was pretty upfront that the image is probably not going to be used. I would assume if it had gone to the next stage, a money value may have been negotiated. At which point the Photogrpher could proceed or not.
A few from my vast collection. These are recent ones cropped vetically for another request but they are able to re be cropped into landscape.
The helos are leased like most of the Defence force these days that aren’t contracted out 🙂
I had it all explained to me a month back when I asked about the CASA implications of flying regulations with a Military operated Aircraft under a Civilian rego.
But don’t ask me to explain, I found it very confusing and not entirely convincing 🙂
Brain hurt
Back in 1978, when I was living in Townsville, Nth Queensland I saw an Aircraft that I swear was a Tupolev Bear flying not far off the Coast. I was at school at the time and while it was far away and not 100 percent distinguishable, someone else reckoned it was a Connie but there are obvious differences and I’ll stick by what I reckon.
So…………….. anyone able to help. I have since heard that the Russians used to fly into Australian Airspace but I have no proof that they were telling the truth.
It was a tight fit, i’ll give you that But I still managed it 🙂
wasn’t passing up the opportunity I had for anything 🙂
Did you get my PM Wardie
