    But this is definitely Mi-8, not Mi-17

    yes – IIRC these were all retired in the late 1980’s. Which meant that Pakistan was without an Hip variant for some time, can anyone confirm?

    I think it was pretty intentional, we’ve seen anti-PAF posts like this before.

    yeah, too many ppl try to get attention and respect by conjuring up some crappy fantasy like PAF F-16 flying in PRC et al

    um, i thought those were brackets for the HMCS – do you any photos of russian NVGs?

    The HMCS pix Ken has posted till now seems to be of an earlier generation, the newer ones a lot less bulky. Like we see in this PLAAF photo.
