    The Red Arrows had performed at Hindon on the 13th of october. It was a joint show with the Suryakirans and the Akash Ganga (IAF’s para team) and a solo MKI display.

    Attached: The Reds perform a synchro pair as a SKAT Kiran waits beside the runway for the final photo-op.

    IIRC the IDF/AF paints its force multipliers in civilian airline schemes – complete with fake windows – any pictures?

    the face canopies on the underside of a lot of aircraft – each one pays a license fee to Heater Ferris, the inventor BTW).

    Could you please elaborate more on this?

    I personally like the IAF grey, but what really makes me mad is the removal of all squadron markings as well. I hope the IAF goes the RAF way and paints the markings in a smaller size.

    AFAIK, the Litening costs $ 1 M a pop, which probably is more than the cost of the rest of the plane 😮

    I dig that light blue scheme….black paint on the nose is kewl too.

    Any pix of the cokcpit?

    Also, it appears to me that for the newer flanker variants the differences in fin types has also got something to do with which factory is producing them – apart from the number of crew per plane of course.

    All KNAAPO fins are different from the Irkut fins.

    Recently i was told on a forum that there was a picture of a Su-30MKI [SB029] in Flight International recently, with the nose area infront of the cockpit painted black – MiG-29 style. Can you confirm this? Do you have a scan?
