I have read long time ago “Samurai” by Saburo Sakai and I think he is mentioned that he was once attack by this plane from cloud. To regret I don’t have this book any more and hope that somebody could confirm this.

@ 25deg south- yes it is Galland hood and it is also called Erla hood by the factory name where it was manufactured.

Victor is very interesting of all three V bombers and its main feature is its wings. This in flight study show the shape of wing which is the adapted basic design developed by Germans for the Arado bomber during the WW2.
