Belated Birthday wishes from me too Gary.
Could it be a ANT-42 or TB-7 which were the designations for the PE-8 before it became the PE-8.
I have had a look through Soviet Combat Aircraft of WWII and apart from the above mentioned the only other 4 engined Soviet bomber shown is the Tupolev TB-3 which it certainly isn’t.
Not a lot of help really!
Polish AF SU-22 Fitter

Innesworth charge a £25 search fee

Service records for RAF Officer’s that served prior to 1922 and Airmen that served prior to 1924 are held at Kew.
The article in last weeks Radio Times doesn’t say what plane was used, only that they found it at a Lithuanian airport and it was used for crew training, also that the take off scenes were filmed in the UK using a scale model. The post crash footage was created by cutting up bits of other discarded planes and arranged to look like the real thing.
Ollie,
Well done, you have managed to miss 2 airworthy UK examples off your list, maybe you should get your copy of Flypast out again and have a look, unless somebody else tells you which ones they are. Not being able to read a list isn’t a very good start to a research project!
I think it is a Morane Saulnier MS 230.
The Hasegawa kits for the J7W1 and the jet powered J7W2 show what look like 2 pairs of rockets at the back of the pilots seat so maybe an early ejection seat taking the pilot away from the props?
I don’t if it is what you want but I recently got a CanoScan 3200F from the Canon Outlet on eBay for £35 inc delivery, this comes with a negative & slide holder.
Great photos Gareth.
And the last batch.
And some more!
The third batch.
It has been a few months since I last posted pictures (I don’t really agree with this new seperate section), but following some pressure at the Old Warden show, I have posted a few pics as below. Hope you enjoy! 🙂
I like the quote Darren but did you really need to be put under pressure to post some pics. Lovely photos by the way, I have some similar ones!
