Nobody can PM him Peter. You can PM any of us “old-timers” and vice versa.
I can PM everybody who has posted on this thread except FKA Trolley Aux.
Anybody who has joined since the forum meltdown has to have made a ridiculous number of posts before PMs are enabled. I did manage to work out a rough ballpark figure for it once, which I can’t remember now, but it’s several, if not many, hundreds.
I’m away for nearly two weeks from tomorrow morning so I’ll see if anything’s changed when I return.
I won’t hold my breath…
Hi Dh Fan
my old account i suddenly could not get in so had to start a new one. i have no recollection of an opt in opt out button.
ive never tried to pm anyone. no idea if i can alter that.
sorry for the delay in my reply. its been a bit hectic at home.
4 mill, Im saving up. only 3.9999999 million to go
They can see, this is the right place for it and all your dedication to the Stirling. I cant praise you and your team enough.
Thank you Peter.
I do not see a relevant Zombie being raised if it was new information that was detrimental to the thread or the history of an item.
This blatant re-posting was just slightly annoying , but hey ho. just as the forum appeared to be picking up as well but a decline after these postings.
It would be nice to have a views counter, it would at least show us the activity. I have noted other forums slowing down, I think its us oldens keeping them going. The start of WWII is now 85 years ago and getting the feel of WWI as being the long distant past.
Thanks to all of you who post here. I still like it

Sorry I missed this posting on 1st Sept due to the Zombie threads taking over. Again this is another first class update.
Looking forward to more as this project really starts to come together.
Seeing this huge pieces arrive is unbelieveable, who would have though.
Well done once again

The past couple of days over mid Essex, STRIKEMASTER rides in and out of North Weald
Just look at the Goodwin Sands Dornier. A huge amount of effort and money for something that will turn to dust very quickly.
I am all for saving aircraft though
WOW !!! that is excellent news. this is really making a stunning collection of Stirling. just gets better.
Well done all involved
Wondefull, I love the Gannet especially in dayglo
Looks a little flimsy and agricultural to me, maybe a hopper for a downpipe. those bolts are really clunky
See, this forum can be a gem of a place at times. well done you lot. great to see threads like this.
No need to announce your departure HPIII, this not an airport.
