    Fedaykin Ref # 349

There are two versions of that same event in which two daggers atack a Sea Harrier –
The first one says that pilots Donadile and Senn saw two Sea harriers , drops theire bombs and head on towrds the planes – Its also states tha a Pilot by the name of Harry Trent was hit , plane damaged but reach the carrier were ejected – Even thoe this version was gather by an Argentine and British comision , the doubts are
-Is there a Pilot by the name of Harry Trent on records
-How was it that they were able to fire in between clouds / dificult view –

The second version is the most likely which says , they did drop the bombs , they did head on towards the Harriers but missed theire shots with the 30 mm , and version also says pilots involved would have been Thomas and Ward

Thank you very much for the info and pictures , could any of you elaborate more on how was it that the C-130 made it to the runway at night during the conflict – Tanoarg ( Marcelo) was telling us about a lazer that someone aimed at the C-130 while at the end of the runway , so that the plane could land with no runway lights neither its own lights –

    Hi Ken
No I have not seen that report –

On the islands there were two radars , one belong to Air Force ( Antps-43 Westinghouse ) Mayor Silva commander in charge and had to do with all related to Blue -( that is the picture you have )
If I’m not wrong 3 PPS displays , and communication equipment – Crew was quite large they could take turns on a 24 hs operation -Range 220 NM
    It was a 3 D Radar

The other radar Cardion Antps-44 , only one PPS display , Range 200 NM , little crew , actually I was the only operator and had to do with all related to Red – It was a 2 D Radar – Altitude only by IFF –

Info of both Radars reported to CIC / PCDA ( Air Post Command ) – Those reports of incoming planes that I gave to PCDA and that the Command post establish them as Red , were track by me in detail with update every 30 seconds to a minute –

Those not Red were track and directed exclusivley through Westibghouse Radar

I do remember the Mirage we shot down ( Blue on Blue ) , Westinghouse had instructed Pilot to eject , Pilot tried to save plane and make it the runway – At that moment we were under atack , and even doe the info of the Blue coming in was given by Westinghouse strait to Command Post my thought is that it may not have reach Triple A in time – The circunstances in which the plane tried to make it to the runway at that moment were totaly unfavorable –

Regarding Canberra they were directed by Westinghouse , let me get someone from the other forum on the reports they have
