Ken which was the position of HMS Cardiff on May 30 in relation to HMS Invincible – ?

Can you ask your friend from HMS Minerva if he could detail us the events , how C-130 was detected and how it was intercepted ?

Thank you Enrique Rey Del Castillo

Good Morning Ken , thank you for the photo , It’s not me – Seems to be a photo from the Air Force people at Falklands that operated the Westinghouse Radar ( ANTPS 43 ) –

I operated the Cardion ANTPS 44 from the Army –

Mainly the Air Force Radar was to Guide interceptions and guide planes on atack – The Army Radar was to alert and track atacks from the Fleet –

    Thank you , regards Enrique

Sea Harrier guided from the fleet towards tracker-
Tracker detects Harrier approaching and turns back –
    Sea Harrier persues Tracker
Tracker advises what is going on
Santisima Trinidad activates radar 909 at 80 miles
at 25 miles Sea harrier is iluminated by radar 909 – Stops in the air -We asume that pilots realizes that without doppler if Sea Dart was launch it will get lost and selfdestruct -Sea Harrier turns arround and goe back to Task Force-
Since no Sea Dart was fired , all estimates indicate distance between Aircraftcarrier and Harrier at about 40 miles –

Harrier that came close to Aircraftcarrier 25 de Mayo was in search of tracker that with MAE was checking on the Task Force –
When Harrier aproches Aircraft carrier , Hercules (type 42)iluminates it with radar 965 making the Harrier turn arround –

Our Aircraftcarrier would only make 24 knots going down Niagara Falls – Usualy max speed at 20 – calm sea and no wind –

Aircraft carrier back in Puerto Belgrano by May 03/04 – Unloads Air Components that will in the future be used from Airfields-

Regardin Rusian Subs only observing Royal Navy , Argi forum says :

We think they may have also been observing our fleet since we had :

-Type 42 / French A69 / German type 209 / all of them modern by those years standards –

Rusian Capitan stated back in 83 that they had observed Mar del Plata ( a city north of Puerto Belgrano ) Through periscope , which means they have been very close to land back in 82 –

    Creaking Door Ref # 189

Yes the evidence that it could have been Sub is :

-Seen as either periscope or snorkel summerging ( Diesel Sub ? )
-Speed increased while been tracked by sonar
-Double blimp on launch of torpedo ( which could mean had been engaged )

Regarding locations Aircarftcarrier, let me check and get back with you on that –

    Thank you , Regards Enrique

    What we know is :

Apr 23 HMS Speldid had found the aircraft carrier as it pulled out of its base in Puerto Belgrano
Apr 26 finds destroyer Hercules and Santisima Trinidad with 3 Frigates that carry exorcets – Follows them and recieves the order to quit persue and go back to find again aircraft carrier -Which does not find –
May o2 at about 0330 AM Sea Harrier from Invinvible finds Carrier ( as you told us )

    Thank you Sir

We are sure no Sub of any type was sunk , the doubt we had was that of the one the Tracker shot at – It may have shot and not hit , and it could even have been a Rusian Sub – Your thoughts ?

    Thank you

    Regardin Boxes for Subs

Boxes used for SSk , were they also used on SSN ?

HMS Spartan was able to keep up with Aircraft carrier 25 de mayo ?

Aircraft Carrier after Belgrano was sunk , remained with in the 200 nm of shore in preparation for an atack that never came out – Which Sub was tracking it ?

On the event of may 05 , when at 0910 am Tracker 2H-232 launches torpedo
it does it to a sonar contact that has increase speed and is able to listen to duplicate pimps – They still doubt it was a whale – Still think it may have been sub tracking Carrier –
