Hi all, not been on the forum for about 4 years and got an Email from the admin. saying somebody has tried logging in my ID, 5 times and they have been blocked for 15 minutes.
Just be aware folks. I don’t put too much personal detail on the net if I can help it, it’s just one method of how ID theft is done.
    And I changed password.

Like it or not, I think most of the civilised World will care.

    Good luck to them.

Tapes must have been destroyed like so many other of BBC stuff.

Engine-less mini, 200 gallon petrol tank, the live Goldfish-eating shop owner. To name a few. Well, three.

I remember him as Col. Clarence E. Pitts in the film ‘The Eagle Has Landed’

    RIP.

    Yes,
I also recall another movie in which he was a Helicopter pilot, vietnam vet.
Jeannie was watched as a kid, but can’t say I rushed home for it.
As for Dallas, I confess I never missed a single episode. Even the very start of it, which was on BBC2 8pm Monday night slot (1)………..and it was Terry Wogan which yammered on about it on his Breakfast radio every week until viewing figures made it clear it was a winner and a Saturday nighter.

    (1) I alays used to watch this 8pm because it was BBC’s “Give it a try” slot.
Alias Smith and Jones were on that, Kelly Montieth show and lots more.

In the last two years I’ve owned two cars. A Sierra and a Mondeo. Both of which don’t have ABS. So I’ve learnt to brake optimally. On the odd occasion I have used a car with ABS (Audi A3) the ABS has not kicked in. I guess I’ve learnt to drive without it?

It won’t kick in until is senses a skid. Hall sensors reading a reluctor ring detect a locked wheel and then it kicks in with it’s on/off action.
So, you should be thankful that it didn’t kick in, it means you were in no emergency or “Brown trouser” situations.

Hi Richard…unfortunately all a/c are a compromise between performance/weight/space and cost…none of them are perfect 🙂
