    Keep ’em comin. Lovely.

Offset nose gear. There was a valid and logical reason for the offset, it wasn’t over engineered. But I can’t remember the reason!

    Don’t tell him Pike!
I could watch them all night every night.

“Would you mind, awfully, falling in, gentlemen…thank you so much”.

Perfect, gentle, harmless fun. I think the word “Ruddy” was in one episode, the nearest they got to a swear word.

    Amongst the best of British.

    (Nostalgia thread methinks)

Lanny…..Only Mk 1’s and 2’s. Ugly shopping trolleys since then.

    (Hides from incoming)

Moggy Minors, and Travellers. Green idiot light on the end of the indicator stalk. Cupboard/shelf where the Speedo/Dash should be. Engine, not much bigger than my starter motor.

People who actually live in and around Manchester know that’s a load of old cobblers, frankly.

Even PeeDee wouldn’t run that particular dead cat up a flagpole.

ManU attendees at the ground are 85% manc and then a liberal sprinkling (Say 70 coaches) from all over the country – and Northern Ireland.
The Fan base is however worldwide.
I would hazard a guess that Manc and Greater Manc’s footy fans are probably 70% Utd and 30% City.

Satdee….If Everton beat Chelsea 3-0, it means City only have to win by 8-0 agin Bolton. Then we will finish 2nd in the Premiership.
    Dream on.

I never saw a Caravelle use a ‘chute but they were used in service

    http://www.airliners.net/photo/Air-France/Sud-SE-210-Caravelle/0716050/L/

And I believe Aeroflot Tu-104s did also
    http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?aircraft_genericsearch=&airlinesearch=&countrysearch=&specialsearch=&daterange=&keywords=TU-104+parachute&range=&sort_order=photo_id+desc&page_limit=15&thumbnails=

Indeed they were. Rngway in the late 60’s early 70’s it was common for the Air France versions to drop a chute on landing. Can’t remember if the Alitalia ones did.
Agreed, it is perhaps the most beautiful Jet Airliner ever made (Along with the VC10 and the Concorde of course). And the 707. And, the Trident. And, the Convair 990. Mustn’t forget the 747. OK, DC8.

that was humour !! 🙂 to a degree i don’t think she’s any difrent to a lot of young ladies it is probably the dogs danglies to her generation but looks awful to us !!

can’t say i like the eye makeup thing either , but that’s a generation thing

personaly i love the royals !! ( the options are unthinkable ) i think the price of the royal family to each individual works out at 65 pence per year ( i’d gladly give more to keep it !! )

she auctions a hat to help needy kids and tries to be fashionable and gets slated

if she had dressed and been made up more classicly the cries from the same people would have been ” stuffy royals , they aren’t intrested in us !! “

what do they do ?? seems to me with todays critical lot they are stuck between a rock and a hard place !!

some in recent years have been less than perfect but you can’t tar the kids with the same brush they are now becoming individual adults

zara seems to be a very down to earth atractive young lady and probably better on a horse than her mum !! ( but shhh don’t tell anne that !! ):D

Hear hear! Well said that man.

How can I describe different Smoke tastes?
Kippers are cold smoked all night long so when you get them they still need a Ding in the MicroW or a steam-up.
Smokies are hot smoked in an hour but they are cooked after that too. You can eat them cold or Ding them to warm them up. Because they are hot smoked they are drier and moistness doesn’t return in a reheat.
Both are excellent for breakfast, Kippers is my favourite…I have Manx ones on Christmas morning, internet ordered.

Dunno where the capacity thing came from. Anyway, I posted a Footy comment in the other thread, thought it was here. I cook with too many aluminium saucepans I think.

I’ve seen footballers fall over in agony when somebody stands on their bootlace. Later that day, they can walk away from a 150mph Ferrari crash without a scratch.

    HEATHEN!!!!!!!
    Ones addock ones errin!

City won 3-0 tonight. That puts us in 3rd place. Last game is Saturday, all that needs to happen is for Chelsea to get beaten by Everton and City to beat Bolton by about 13-0 (Minus the amount of goals Everton score). Then we’d be 2nd in the prem!
    No problem.
