I certainly think he’s an idiot and only in office as a novelty vote. Killing OSB in his house is the first decent thing he’s done. It will help remove his “Muslim-in-Chief” nomenclature.

And the event is not highly unlikely, the Arabs have a problem with Israel and the Jewish faith…full stop. Israel isn’t moving and the Arabs think they are better owners of the land.
It is only a little bit unlikely that US will be dragged in full bore, as Israel rarely asks for help and has a nice tidy stockpile of arms ready for the next fisticuff with the noisy neighbours. Public opinion stopped her last time, preventing a full on destruction of the Hamas or whatever they are called this year.

Today’s Army is equipped (When it’s supplied!) with far too much complicated gear and techniques for an 18 month dilution.
When we ruled the World, we needed to put “Grunts” at every corner of it, from peeling spuds to pukka duties.
These days, there isn’t actually the work for them.

However, reading the sentiment of the OP, I do think 18 months square bashing would teach more young people the value of things, tidiness, and and and and.

Granted, Obama is an idiot yes, but he will be totally out-voted if push came to shove in an Israel-Arab situation.
(1) Vast % of US citizens are Jewish heritage – including the Government.
(2) Even larger % of US citizens have a complete dislike of Arabs and their lifestyle…it isn’t just the red-necks.
(3) Number 2 is also applicable to UK, but not in the same Yee-haa way. Ask any Briton, that if a War between the Arab states and Israel started, who would they want to win?
(4) Saudi would be in a peculiar position, given that US and UK do so much dealing with them.
