Perhaps the ‘humour’ and ‘speculation’ should wait a bit………..

Ummm,yeah.

5 miles ~= 8 kilometres.

I propose that the IMPERIAL KILOMETER is introduced

In SI 1 km (1000 m) equals about 3280.84 feet

We round down to make it easy for the youth of today…..

so that 1 ‘Imperial’ kilometer (Impkm) equals exactly 3000 feet

(or about 0.9144028 of a SI kilometer)
