Well done England.
Let me guess? we will never here the end of it!
It will be — Remember when we won in 1966 and — Remember when we won in 2003.
One day the Scots will return! But unfortunately not now due to the fact we are pretty C**P.
As mention above a sincere well done to England!!!!

RE: Shorts Belfast
The answer is yes it is still at Prestwick. After several days in the Polar air hanger I eagerly awaited the new colour scheme only to see that it still remains in the Heavylift colours albeit very new looking, so whether it has been repainted or had a very good clean I don’t know. The G-HLFT reg has gone and no replacement as yet.
I will do my best to get a photograph for all to see over the next few days. A bit of British avation history!
Let’s hope that one off the Key mags runs an article on the new owners and their operations.
Best regards to all,
🙂

RE: Ryanair Plane runs over fellow pilot!
You see its the old senario. Remember the BBC used to have all the best sports coverage! Then along came Sky and all of a sudden the BBC coverage was almost gone, you had to subscribe to Sky or lose out.
Competition breeds change and mostly this change is for the better in the long run, the BBC have now raised their game and we have probably the best choices of sport to pick from. The BBC even allows you to pick what camera views / footy /golf games etc. you would like to view. This would not have come around if Sky never challenged their monopoly!
In my mind this is what Ryanair is doing now. We are at the low end of this “change” but it will and is forcing the big airlines to wake up and realise that if they want to survive they must change for the better. Mr O’Leary may seem arrogant but he has every right to be he has the vision to build up an airline and still pull in the profits in these very difficult times!
Good luck to him and lets hope the big airlines are paying attention!

RE: Ryanair Plane runs over fellow pilot!
Are they making money -Yes
Are they expanding when the other big airlines are reducing – Yes
All I can say is if your are willing to pay three times the price then fly with the big airlines.
No Frills / What You See Is What You Get / You get what you pay for!
Roll on Ryanair My favourite Airline,
Good day to you all!!

RE: Shorts Belfast
G-HLFT is currently at Glasgow Prestwick International Airport and has over the past few days been running engine checks. I to have heard that it is middle east bound. I will try to find out more info and re post.
