    Cheers for the comments 🙂

(A6-EME) – You must have very good eyesight to work the registration out from that height 😉

Got the registration off that site, as long as you know the flight number and the date the registration will come up. 😀

    Hello
There is this site if you know of the aircraft flight number, you can type it in and the reg comes up, although you might have to take note of the flight number as the reges aren’t uploaded to the site until 4-6 hours (maybe less) from the time the plane took off.

That would look quite strange I think, with all the Air Canada A343s and all coming into LHR as well, then you see this little Air Canada A319. Didn’t know they had the range on them but looking at the stats it can travel 6845km.

Very nice pics, would love to know the directions to that field under 09L where the planes where approaching over.

We saw an A340 climb out (a Turkish airline I think) that didn’t retract its undercarriage for the entire time that the aircraft was visible. All the other aircraft that had taken off had retracted or were retracting their landing gear by the time they flew over us. This A340 didn’t retract its undercarriage at all.[/IMG]

I’ve seen this at nearly every big airport i’ve been to. I was on a Lufthansa A300 a few years ago when it happened to us, you could tell because I heard the big bump when the gear was retracted, we had all flaps up by this time and were quite high up, about 6000ft. This is all done for cooling the breaks down after all the heat during the day and the friction done when taxing and taking off.

Nice shots! I will be down there Sunday to see if the VS rumors are true, that they are getting A330s and cancelling their A380 orders.

And for anyone who has been down already, what is the reg of the Eva Air 773ER?
