I don’t get it.

everyone would know that USAF would buy 35A just to use it to drop bombs.

why not have a structually lightened 35C variant so save some $$$.

all this for extra few knots that you will not use any ways?

apparently there are conspiracy theories flowing around that. this J-20 first flight business is all really a cover for first flight of “trans-atmosphereic vehicle”.

I am more interesting on reading how they will do sensor fusion combining AESA, and EW suits. possiblly IRIST integrated into pilot helmet display slaving multiple sensor and weapons.

from the cockpit ejector seat position it is most likely a sidestick… rather forward.

haven’t seen any good open sources from there. 😀

but I know they are working on them.

to me J-10B interest me not so from DSI point of view but, with its two integrated EW pods and AESA is suppose to platform to test that first generation of that suit, in a fighter platform.
