Spent most Saturday afternoons back in the mid 70’s doing my house up, while listening to Fluff, (more time listening than working) so glad I tapped them. Saturday Afternoon Rock show magic.

Understand they have a sizeable fleet?
In some ways this would appear not such a surprise as it seems, best time to order a new/additional type is when no one else is.
Cast your minds back to the late 80’s, at that time orders for A320’s were slow, so Air Canada jumped in and ordered some, result being they got their slots and made a good deal no doubt.
A380 is a great aircraft, true there are problems, however the problems will be solved and when they do the wise will have taken up the spare slots.
Question from me is when will Airways put an order in?
Paul
You’d think they would cut the grass.
It don’t get much better than that.

Who own them?

I was at Broughton and Woodford when the aircraft were displayed. I’ve got photos but they are slides, other wise i’d put them up. I’ll have a dig through my files to check just in case there is something I can post.
Had a tour round the hanger just after the full list above had arrived and there were blokes working on them, was strange to walk into there and see 3 Hinds in a row, sight sort of stays with you.

OK chaps lets get in the queue at Warton for an Ex Saudi Tonka.

On the idea to section her and move to Elvington, I’ll go for that and be quite prepared to volunteer to provide my labour along with a friend (we both having some aircraft experience).

Top set of photos, its when you look at these you fully understand that our heritage is slipping away.
E-mails to BAe- would be total waste of time anyone of like minded nature has either retired of moved on, sorry but pound and pence rule now.
Most at the top would think that a Vulcan was something off Star Trek, (no really).

As much as I too would like the Fete to return I see more chance of ME winning the Loto on a Triple Rollover!
It just ain’t gonna happen, Sorry.
