You are right on about the prices on Models, back in the early 90’s I sold the a big part of my unmade collection to fund the purchase of a camera body. I intended to sell the rest to go digi but having looked at some of the prices recently I’m thinking it ‘ll cost me a lot in cash and maybe I’d be best keeping them in case the urge to build comes back.

Aircraft have moved since the above shot was taken, most are now viewable from the road behind Hawarden Aircraft Services, (formally RAF Hawarden 5 Site).
At the time the owner had planned to return the aircraft to flight they were displayed at both Broughton Open Day and also the Woodford Airshow (moved by road).

I was at Man last night picking Son and his Girl Friend up after their flight back from Mauritius.
They went out on a A340 and came back on a 747- his coments was the 747 was like a cattle truck- A340 was great.
They flew Man to Paris then on to Mauriritus.
Oh reason I’m posting is cos the weather Wednesday afternoon was crap, very big down pour.
Paul
Thats the Manchester weather we know and love so much.

Best news I’ve heard all year. Was down at Kemble at the beginning of June. Deltas operation is top notch, hope all the plans go though.

Having caravaned for the last 18 years I found Clarkson & Co’s set up on caravanning a great laugh.
Dont take it a way from them it the most entertaining programme on the box.
By the way just got back from an extended weekend in the Conwy Valley, today was spent with Hawks flying over our heads, next Friday sees us go onto Yr Mon, thats Anglesey no doubt we’ll get to see a lot more that the odd Hawk or two. By the way the weather up here is just unreal at the moment.

Yes but if we go with A310’s we are back to second hand airframes again, not that i’m says the A310 is not the answer in fact the RAF should have gone for the A310 at the start when new build were available.

Share holders have until 1.00pm on the 26th to return paper work, detailing their intentions.
