At this rate I’ll be moving to Spain first Abbey and now BAA, (subject to Share holder approval).

Not so Sandy, your jumping the gun a bit.

the offer still needs to go to the share holders.
Further info also available on BAAs own web site- baa.com media

Very interesting, bids are not due for close till the 9th of June and as BAA have been encouraging share holders to reject the offers so far then I’d take it that acceptance would require share holder approval?????
News in Sundays papers was putting the Goldman Sachs bid as above the Ferrovial Consortium offer.
For me the value in BAA is far greater than any bid which will come in and I for one would if I was a BAA share not be selling or giving my vote to any form of take over!

So what are you saying guys, that as of the 23rd May 2006 you see no need for BA to order A380s? Yea.
Paul
What an excellent idea can’t think why someone has not thought of it before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paul
BMI Star I’m just down the coast from you and we’ve had wall to wall sunshine all day.
7 Days to go now till the A380 flys over Broughton., Filton and into Heathrow, hope we get some sun.
Paul
Do you mean they are going to pay people to sit and do nothing for 5 hours??????
I don’t believe it!
Paul
Must say these are most excellent photos, one now on my desktop.
cheers Paul
Combining the visit to Heathrow with a flypast over the Broughton and Filton sites allows the aircraft to be free over the weekend of the 10th of June to continue with the airframes most important work. A decision made not just based on sentiment.
Paul
380 is cancelled for families day, there will be flypasts on the 18th instead……….too much certification work to be done, apparantly…..
As a share holder I say good move.
