Are you telling me my complaint has been rejected ?

That I will not recieve a reply from the Webmaster or Key Publications ?

Not even an acknowledgment that my recent e-mail has been recieved ?

Not even an acknowledgment, an answer or an explanation for the rejection of my complaint ?

Which is appreciated Kev.

Now I have a suggestion………

I have sent an e-mail to the webmaster as follows:

“Hello

To avoid confusion, would you please be good enough to clarify the situation for me?

Could you please let me know if my complaint has or has not been upheld. And whether or not the code of conduct on this site has or has not been breached.

Or are you are still considering the matter?

Would you be happy if I were to post your answer on the forum in question ?

Could you also please acknowledge this e-mail ?

This is all I ask.”

Can we now leave the matter as follows ?

Once I have received a reply from Key I shall post the details on this forum providing Key have no objections.

I shall also post here advising if no reply is forthcomming from Key.

If Key do not uphold my complaint, so be it. I shall than resign from these boards since I no longer wish to have any asociation with them nor purchase Key Publications products.

I am sure this will be a relief to you all.

Irrespective of the above I hope the original topic continues to be discussed.

I have submitted a complaint to the webmaster.

I had this complaint acknowledged yesterday.

I assumed (possibly incorrectly) that the webmaster would have the common curtisy to reply saying either:

We have considered your complaint and find no problems with the post, or otherwise.

Or do such things not happen ?

If Key come back to me and say that this forums code of conduct has not been breached and that the are perfectly happy with the post made then I shall accept in full there position, obviously, and resign permanantly from this forum.

Something I am sure that will please you all.

In the meantime all I am doing is expressing an opinion. Nothing else. Is this wrong ?

Further, all I have attempted to do at all times is answer the points raised by other people regarding my position, and have tried to do so in a fair and measured way.

Normally I would have no problem giving my name immediately.

However:

Such is the torrent of attack that I have received on this website I fear that should I post my own name at this time I could be subject to repriasals of a most unpleasent nature.

Can we please just follow this forums code of conduct……that is all I ask.

Its not the photo in itself…..its the words attached with the photo.

It is an attack on an individual which is specifically in breach of this forums code of conduct.

Further, If I posted a picture of the Queen and Jimmy Saville together and attached some, lets say disparaging wording above, I wonder what would happen ?

Could we just follow this forums code of conduct and have the said post either edited and or deleted.

And an apology would be nice.

I could have chosen to simply approach Key direct and make no comment what-so-ever on this site, thus avoiding the torrent of comments I have recieved.

I believe that the post in question is “a step to far”.

I await Key publications answers with interest.

I am more than happpy to post under my own name at exactly the same time that everyone else does, especially Moggy, so when do we start that.

Could I make a suggestion ?

Since a lot of people are completly happy with Moggys post.

Copy it.

Place a copy on your own companies/employers intranet. Ensure Moggy’s comments are added as your own and publish it, ensure the companies owners or your companies management are copied in.

Or

Produce as above and send it as an e-mail around your company ensuring the management and CEO recieve a copy.

Or

Produced as above, send a copy to Tony Blairs Office. Under your own name of course.

Or

Or produce as above but photo shoot a picture of :
Your colleague, manager, neighbour, CEO etc insted of TB and distribute as suggested above.

…..and see what happens.

Now, since a lot of you have decided Moggys post is perfectly acceptable and does not breech the code of conduct regarding this forum.

Can I take it that you will proceed regarding my suggestion ?

I look forward to reading your posts confirming your actions with proof of posting.

You are correct….those comments are just that….my opinion.

Which is why I have asked Key to look at the comments made by Moggy in accordance with the Forum Code of Conduct.

I cannot ask the moderator……..because that is Moggy.

Further, I note Moggys comments in the post in question would appear to have been presented by Moggy as a statement of fact, which most certainly they are not.
