It is a tantalising prospect as a cockpit section but as other people have said it is the totally ludicrous price that is surely putting everyone off!

There is probably quite a fine line between the purchase price and restoration cost of this nose and buying another Vulcan nose which has been removed well and is internally intact or not far from it.

But surely there is the potential there though!? 😀

Well, i waz gonna suggest we all chip in to buy it. 😮

But as were still short on the £1,000 needed in pledges etc.. for the Shackleton purchase, i think £2K is out of our depth perhaps ? :confused:

Price aside for a moment (easy to say i know! :rolleyes: ) is there the interest from people to acquire and preserve 391’s cockpit?

Also I thought you guys had managed to get the the cash together for the Shack nose?

Out of sheer curiosity does anyone have plans of rescuing and restoring Vulcan XL391’s cockpit?

Also look forward to hearing of progress on the Shack cockpit! If its North West based then will be glad to lend a hand – not much to help restore up here!
