http://s545.photobucket.com/albums/hh391/XE584/Aerila%20Views/ During my time as a camera operator with the Ordnance Survey I flew over Foulness several times on the way into Southend and as I often had a 35mm with me managed to take the odd snap or two. The two Foulness photo’s were taken in July 1993.

Over to you
Fareham College, not Farnham. Bits were still there when I was doing my ONC and HNC between 1991 and 1995 – the most recognisable bit being one aileron, still painted black, and mounted on a wall. The rest consisted of components.
Lee, in the components was there a starboard consol thats missing from the aircraft and the canopy that came with her is crazed and will need replacing at some stage during the restoration. Sorry about the spelling hand faster than eye and just excited about replies and interest shown in the project.
Sparky.
http://s545.photobucket.com/albums/hh391/XE584/Sea%20Hawks%20at%20Hooton%20Park/ Hi every one Happy New Year. The link is for pictures of Bill’s Sea Hawks delivery to Hooton Park on Thursday 4th Dec 08.
Back to my cockpit for a moment, a seat came from Bob with the unit this is stencilled WV831 which from demobbed site makes it a FGA6 scrapped 12/81 from Farnham College. As I mentioned there is a plate on the side screen frame containing the following details, DRG D198186, Iss No 5, AW, Ser No S4 WS 1411, 16.55.55 I hope to get over to Hooton at the weekend and will get a proper look at the fuselage plate if I do. As for the North West cockpits Bill Turnbull has WV903 major parts plus the centre and tail sections from XE339. The cockpit for 339 I believe going to Clive Davies. WV838 has left Roy and is now in the care of Jon H and finally there is my as yet unknown example. Finally from what Bob said WM993 the PLT from Corsham was scrapped when the colletion was dispersed from Peasdown though the details from Bob on any of this are pretty vauge. Sparky.

Hi every one thanks for the input. When I next visit Hooton I will look over the airframe and post results of what I find. Keep digging, have a Happy New Year, regards Sparky.
Thanks for putting the pictures on as you see they are at Hooton Park on Sunday 8/11 after transfer from road trailer. Any clues where to look for id plate? Found one on the port side screen and one on the port ejector shute not yet fully examined as I have not been able to open the shute.I also have pictures taken by Alan Curry at Peasdown of WV.
I did try to put a picture on but it failed to show. Not sure on the URL ? what ever so will have to get instruction on this.

The Aeroplane Collection have the remains of KHZ under restoration (long term) which were collected from The Miles Aircraft Collection some time ago. We have a picture taken at Kidlington in 1958 colour scheme is stated as Grey, White and Green. A second picture shows adifferent scheme b&w picture one colour overall with darker cheat line. We also have a ccolur photograph of a model of KHZ which was in the Shell board room and has a cream scheme with red cheat line and spinners and black registration.
