Unbelievable selection from one airport….were they taken from Ingliston market site and if so are the views over the fence still easy to achieve?

Yes, they were all taken from Ingliston side, Barry (with the exception of Primera, of course). I take most of mine through the fence, but yes, it’s still no problem to stand back a little bit with say a 200mm lens.
The Primera was subbing for Cimber Air, who have taken over some Sterling routes. The Omni and Air Italy were for troop movements, it’s been quite busy lately.
Thanks for the kind words 🙂

Sorry to hijack the thread, I’ll delete them if you wish.

No need, as far as I’m concerned 🙂
    Great shots!

I’m looking forward to my flight on one tomorrow 😀

How did your flight go, then?

Thanks a lot, guys. I think the light’s going to be good again today so I’ll see how it goes!

Thanks, guys. Yes, the light is normally pretty good up here, and with being able to get the car almost right up to the fence there’s not much standing around in the cold either 😉

The USAF C-40 (I think!) was the one that caught most of our eyes, and a couple of the airliners (Blue Wings were operating for Germanwings, and the SAS Bae 146 was unannounced)

I thought the same, Scott. I used to use ImageShack, so might go back to that again.

Thanks, Rob and James, for the kind comments. Yes, BMI are the registered owners of the Embraer… and the BMI/BA shot was just a bit of luck…need it sometimes 😉

Here is the one that brought the team in on the Monday, as far as I know it’s about the only one that hasn’t been covered 🙂

Thanks, guys. It’s usually okay when there is a show on, except the Royal Highland show. I mention to the car park attendants that I just want to go down to the fence and they’ve always been okay.
    Cheers
