Totally agree, that is the problem with saying ‘never’ you can never go back on that word, similar with the word ‘unique’ a very difficult word to use correctly!

Hi Forum,

Just been Mooching around in the garage, and found a piece of airframe skinning, that i took from the scrap Canberra Cockpit that was crushed at flowers Yard Chippenham, about 10 years ago,

So, you are living in the garage now?:D

N161NG was also ex American Airlines, but must have had a more chequered career as N5027 (AA), N909CH, N102ME, N765B and HZ-GRP!

Not much speculation lately!

The facts are that N164W left Bournemouth on 29/3 to return to the U.S. so what work was done in the ten weeks it was resident?

Interesting is that Northrup Grumman have three 1-11 test bed aircraft, N164W (090), N162W (087) and N161NG (067).

Anyone want to mention Le Bourget? Quite a few airframes were lost in that fire.

Pretty sure that Le Bourget had a huge fire mid nineties

How would you move it without compromising the structure (or flying it)? My memory of the Belfast is that its a bit big.

Told you it was going to move today, it did, didn’t say it was going to fly!

Little to learn from the prelim. report apart from discounting any bird strike theories. Demonstrates the unreliabilty of general public witnesses.
