Hello again, I agree that a memorial should be erected about this tragic event. This was probably the beginning of the end for Aquila and for those less familiar with the accident, the details are below.
There is another memorial on the Isle of Wight and this represents the crash of the DC-3 on 7th May, 1953 probably a lesser known accident although it happened more recently. A very interesting web site which may give you some ideas.

Yes, the XROE-1 Rotorcyle, no notes left so I couldn’t remember the name. I remember them testing them just to the east of the car park. Whatever happened to G-APYF? And some of the others, they are still looking for them!
