    Once again…not defending these guys in any way but…

    I wonder how many of us would admit to exploring old airfields without gaining permission from the land owner first? I have to admit I have on a couple of occaisions…so therefor I suppose I’m no better than they are!..

    Yes you are better, if you didn’t steal anything or cause any damage. We have probably all committed ‘trespass’ to get that better picture or elusive registration. Ironic that one of the posters ‘Reef’ rhymes with thief!:D

    Slightly tenuous effort to make a connection? There are fires every day as I know having worked in fire insurance a long time ago. Now if these two examples had both been clothes shops selling FURS, you would have had the press all over it like hounds after a fox. Anyway, third day today, no fires reported yet?

    It certainly is, involves about six countries and is predominately a ship exercise if I am not mistaken.

    A very interesting development, so the first two are M-ELON and M-BWFC. The mind boggles at the possible opportunities here on this register, M-ERCY, M-ACRO, M-ADAM, M-AJOR, M-ANIA, M-ARRY, M-ATEY, M-AYOR, M-ETAL, M-INCE, M-INUS, M-ODEL, M-OUTH or M-USIC. I am sure you can fit some owner’s names to these registrations!:D 😀

    Every spring it makes me smile to see the signs opened and the fence in place. Funny thing is that in 20 years using the road (on a daily basis for a couple of years) I’ve never actually seen a toad crossing it (or the aftermath of one who tried and failed). I can’t help but wonder how the toads cross safely at each end of the fence :confused: , I’m waiting for a toad-sized zebra crossing to appear in due course:rolleyes: .

    We have the frog problem in Germany and the fences and signs are up now. Again, never seen a frog fatality but we have volunteers who at night collect these fenced in frogs and carry them over the road, honest!:cool:

    The view I had was more of a top-view as it was banked to port as it crossed above and ahead of me

    No, no, stay here I read all your posts! Keep us informed about Frog land, it creates a nice balance against deteriorating Gannets, Cessna 150 bombers and planners against airfields.:)
