Might put the frighteners up Baby!
With EMA/BRS and even LTN so close, i cant see any kind of major expansion.
Zoom
The Zoom schedule is already pretty full. Their winter ops is also manic, with some UK services being reduced due to their charter work in Canada.
Unless they are getting another 757, possibly from Harmony?
All those aircraft have to go somewhere I suppose (probably Cardiff when BRS fogs!
Well easyland has transferred to CWL, during JAN with the runway issues.
Cant see Ryanair be too sweet at CWL tho! :diablo: 😀
BHX for them!
Now the summer season is just about here. Does anyone have anymore updates for the list? Lots of a/c not accounted for!
I belive ‘YI’ is due for its cabin refurb. Could be positioning over to AKL for this.
Although the usual route over to there is via Asia, not the states.
Anyone know what the Air Wales a/c was doing there?
Considering South Wales was going to get a white battering. Its beautiful here in Cardiff!
Maybe it’ll creep up on us and tonight will be an interesting one:dev2:
Thomson are Refurbishing their Long Haul planes. I believe the first one is now back in the UK and will be in service this weekend.
So the new cabin should be even better than the pictures shown. Thomson’s website shows info on what the cabin will be like, but no decent pictures.
CWL
CWL showing some improvement this year, despite XL leaving,
TOM
1x 763 (Longhaul + Shorthaul tues-sun morn then off to DSA)
1x 752
1x 733
FCA
A320
MYT
A321 (upgrade this year)
In the UK no bag can be over 32kgs. I dont know if this is airline policy or health and safety law…but anything over that is difficult for baggage staff to lift!
Also any bag over 20kgs should be tagged with a heavy sticker.
Hope this helps.
I dont know if this is of any help, but came across it the other day.

(If link isn’t allowed – Last paragraph states…)
As part of the Silverjet plc group, Flyjet intends to estalish itself as the UK’s leading independent charter airline and we need people wiliing to play any active role in its development.
So maybe there is hope?
BRS website showing other airlines diverting to CWL/BHX tomorrow morning, including:
Easyjet (to CWL)
BH Air (to CWL)
Air Malta (to CWL)
First Choice (to BHX/EXT)
Thomson Fly (to BHX)
Excel Airways (to CWL)
BA-connect (to BHX)
SN Brussels
Apart from Thomson who have released a press statement on their website, This information is correct from looking at the website.
The other airlines may or may not follow.
However its clear to see from 2 incidents and one near incident that something needs to be done. Especially when pilots have to hold for runway checks, or have expressed concerns to their respective company’s about safety. This should not be compromised.
I’m no expert, but to me, a larger Jet a/c skidding down the runway could be alot worse than a slower, smaller ATR!
CWL is in the press release, though there seems to be no flights for sale!
Where’s this press release? Nothing about CWL on the flybe site that i can see.
FlyBe at CWL would be great, an airline with ambition that could bring some decent new routes to CWL at last!
A/c circled over CWL for about an hour to burn off fuel. CWL on full emergency status. Ended up going to MAN, sounds like everything was ok in the end, thankfully!
CWL’s schedule starts tommorrow CWL-GRO 2315. After that its back to the advertised schedule of 08.20. Confirmed by GRE ops
