Or better still, avoid using that tool at all! Simple Levels adjustment should be all a reasonably well exposed image really needs.

Damned ISO button! A silly mistake but we’ve all made them and will probably continue to do so (3 years ago I spent an entire day at LHR with the top focus point selected and then wondered why my photos weren’t as sharp as I’d have expected… Idiot!) High ISO or not, you’ve produced some very nice images that are a pleasure to view. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

    Paul

So you do make the odd mistake ?:p;):diablo:

It’s all right Steve, Anna has a slightly warped sense of humour. You’ve been a regular on here long enough to have realised that.

:D:D:D Another early start tomorrow! 04.30am Power Walking or so they say.:)

Conversely, what’s the point in even turning your camera on at all if you have no interest in making the photos as good as they can be? That isn’t a true reflection; it’s underexposure!

Incidentally, I’ve spent thousands of hours with editing software and even I don’t understand it fully! 😉

    Paul

Ok Paul you have your view and I’ll have mine. End of story.

These are all worth working on! I’ve had hundreds of good images in terrible light; it’s more than possible. In fact it takes no extra work at all, just a little understanding and practice.

    Paul

I fully understand editing software! but that was what the light was like at that point that day! So what is the point of playing about with it ? It is a true reflection of the weather conditions.:p;)

I think that the VC-10 shot is right as it is-an honest reflection of the conditions on the day. I like that other 146 too, are all Titan’s aircraft in bold colour schemes like those two? I’d never even heard of them until Anna answered my query.

Yes it would appear they are Mike and onboard looks pretty classy.:)

If a problem has no solution, it may not be a problem, but a fact – not to be solved, but to be coped with over time.:p 🙂
