I have never seen one coming out of or going into RAF Northolt, as part of their secretive station flight, that I can recall, and I live next door pretty much so see most of the traffic coming and going!
The Army Air Corps used to fly Islanders in N Ireland from RAF Aldergrove and Ballykelly, but again I never recall seeing an AEW version.
Hope this helps!:D
I know a lot of North American modelers use a plastic based floor wax called Future. I believe it also holds down decals.
I don’t believe it yellows.
If you have any relatives here or anyone coming for a visit, they might be able to provide a bottle.
It may even be the stuff mentioned above, as I believe it’s made by Johnson Wax.
Future goes for £30 a bottle if you can get your hands on it where I work! Johnson “Klear” and Pledge “Future” should sponsor the Household Division lol!:D
Silver and Dayglo orange Meteor
Meteor seen parked on the pan at RAF Northolt. Also 32 Sqn A109 coming into land and some Civvy business type jet leaving.
I was at RAF Northolt yesterday and noticed one of the MB Meteors over on the civilian side of the airfield. Still visiting or resident??
if you can still find it , try johnsons klear floor treatment worth a try as it is simply a matter of re coating as the new coat disolves the old one !!
should be tough and water proof as it is intended for kitchens
and used on many guardsmen’s parade boots!;)
Having recently moved to Uxbridge I was wondering if anyone knows of any good rides out around this area?

Yep the lakes taken at Kirkstone pass.
I will remember that, it looks stunning up there! What bike are you riding? is it a VFR?

She loves it, finds it a nicer ride than the SV, no problems with it as yet, but we have only had it since March.
I only ask as a friend of mine was looking at one recenly. I remember riding an old ER5 as part of my training before doing my test it had taken a right hammering an was a right old bag of bolts lol!

I`m sorry but that`s not a bike, owning a scooter does not make one a biker, it makes you a .. ………. …………… … . .. . . .. . If you want a two stroke get a RD500, at least thats a mans bike.
