This Sunday 11th November at Barack Square Martlesham Heath at 3-00. We now have it confirmed there will be an Honour Guard present as a tribute to 2nd Lt James Des Jardins who went MIA from here during WW2 and was recently found in Germany and repatriated to his home town Green Bay, Wisconsin.

They did one in March this year on the 17th, I went to that and it was a photographers event. The night part started at 8-00 and the daytime was as usual. Good day all round.

You cant be made redundant whilst on sick leave I believe. I would contemplate going sick with stress and let it take him over the 3 days. I may be wrong and I’m sure some one will tell me.

I spoke with the owner and commented that although old it didn’t look old enough for the period only to be told it actually came out in the late 30s. This one was 1947 I think he said. The design was way ahead of its time. Most cars were square like boxes. It was in great condition with the 2 RAF Ensigns on the front wings.

No it wasn’t me with the models. Its was Gary who is also in the cockpit dressed in Luftwaffe gear. I spent a lot of time in the cockpit.
Thats me in the P51 cockpit in Wyvernfan’s photo.
