Has anyone got a sound file or video of a Hunter doing a “Blue Note”
MISDEMEANOR actually produced one at Bentwaters but I didn’t get it
I have seen the You Tube with Raymond Baxter
close bit more in front of the Touch Down Engineering and by the Crab machine, but right up as close to the runway as anyone

I was honoured to have visited in Bristol last November a chap of 96 years of age. His name was Tommy Broom and he was the navigator half of the Flying Brooms ( not related ) The pilot half was the Late Sir Ivor Broom. Im sad to say that Tommy died last week. I have posted a link to his Telegraph Obituary.

below is photo taken by my wife of him when signed a painting of his Mosquito bearing the “Crossed Witches Brooms ” and also his friend Tom Parry Evans who wrote his biography ( well worth reading ) Tommy is holding the pint glass. ( he drank real ale and smoked St Bruno )
